Our Stack

Two practices. One operating stack.

We use the same core tools across both the GTM and recruiting practices. That is not a coincidence; it is part of why the two practices share DNA. Below is what we actually use in client work.

Used in both GTM and recruiting

Clay

For prospect research, candidate sourcing, multi-source enrichment, and workflow automation. The single most-used tool across both practices.

Apollo

Data enrichment, account research, contact discovery. Used for both ICP-based prospect lists and candidate sourcing pools.

LinkedIn (Sales Navigator + Recruiter)

The single most important channel for both practices. We use it for outreach, warm-network mapping, and direct candidate engagement.

Smartlead

Email outreach infrastructure for both prospect and candidate sequences. Deliverability and inbox warming.

n8n and Make

Workflow automation across CRM, enrichment, sequencing, and reporting. We build client-specific automations rather than buy off-the-shelf glue.

Notion

Knowledge management, engagement docs, candidate dossiers, playbook documentation. Shared with every client.

GTM-specific stack

  • HubSpot or Attio — CRM, depending on stack maturity
  • Outreach or Salesloft — sales engagement, when client team is in place
  • Gong or Chorus — conversation intelligence, deal review
  • Mutiny or 6sense — ABM, intent signal layer (selective)
  • Heyreach or Dripify — LinkedIn outreach automation
  • Default.com — inbound enrichment and routing

Recruiting-specific stack

  • Gem — talent CRM, sourcing pipeline management
  • HireEZ — passive candidate discovery, particularly for senior IC
  • Findem or Mercor — AI-assisted senior eng search
  • Levels.fyi, Pave, Option Impact — comp benchmarking
  • toflow.ai — outreach management and ATS
  • Hire and Glassdoor — reference and reputation signals

Why this matters for you

Two operating principles drive our tool choices.

First, we use tools we have used in actual client work, not the latest fashionable SaaS that we'd be learning on your dime. Every tool above has been used in at least three of our recent engagements.

Second, we recommend what fits your stage and stack, not what pays us. We do not take kickbacks or referral fees from any tool vendor on this list. If something cheaper or simpler works for you, we say so.
